Leading KZN based owner Alesh Naidoo went to R1,1 million to secure an unnamed Dynasty colt out of Captain Al’s champion daughter and triple Gr1 winner All Is Secret as the chart-topper at a well attended CTS Lanzerac Ready To Run Sale on Friday evening.

The Dynasty sales topper – lot 5

Consigned by Klawervlei as agent, the close relative of champion and multiple Gr1 winner Bela-Bela boasts a dam who is an own sister to Gr1 winning 2yo The Secret Is Out. Her third dam is Broodmare Of The Year Mystic Spring, and this is also the family of 2000 Guineas hero Mystiko . The colt (#5) is also from the same family as recent Gr2 Western Cape Fillies Championship winner Snowdance, who is one of 18 entries for the Gr1 Cape Fillies Guineas next month.

Unconfirmed social media reports suggested the youngster is likely to be trained at Summerveld by Dennis Bosch.

Second highest priced lot was the R850 000 paid by Mark Erasmus for #102, the nattily named Big Blue Marble (Var) consigned by Drakenstein Stud as agent. Out of the Goldkeeper mare Raise The Bar, he is a half-brother to Joey Ramsden’s stakes performer, Rose In Bloom (Gimmethegreenlight).
